Overview
We are pleased to inform you of an upcoming improvement designed to make ordering and product identification easier and more consistent. On June 8th, we will be going through a process of SKU Harmonization on axle part numbers, meaning we will be updating certain legacy (former Rockwell, Redneck, Tex Trail, etc.) product part numbers to align them across Dexter brands and systems.
As a result, the same product will have a single, standardized item number. This change will help reduce confusion, improve order accuracy, and make it easier to find and reorder the products you need. While the part numbers for these axles will change, the products themselves will remain the same.
This initiative provides several key benefits:
- Improved consistency in part number and description nomenclature
- Elimination of duplicate SKUs, reducing confusion and errors
- Streamlined ordering and receiving processes, making it easier and faster to do business with us
- Pricing: your pricing on current SKUs will be mirrored on the new SKUs

References have been put in place so when you search for an old part number on Index, the search results will bring up the new part number for you. You can verify you have chosen the correct new part number by referencing the "Alternate Item Numbers" section on the product page - the old part number will be listed there. There is also a Part Number Cross-Reference available that you can download and reference.
